ABOUT US
Eden Park Sporthorses
Located in the beautiful Hunter Valley NSW Eden Park is designed to produce world-class sport horses. The property is equipped with a 60m x 40m grassy sand all weather jump arena with quality jump equipment, a number of safe wooden post paddocks with shelter and an irrigation system, a separated extra safe stallion paddock, two extra safe mare and foal paddocks with constant access to stables, two stables blocks and much more. Although the location of Eden Park means it's very blessed with quality feed and space, Eden Park aims to produce quality over quantity ensuring horses bred, trained or produced are individually focused on.
Eden Park has the advantage of being co-directed by Caroline Cooper alongside Abby Cooper who have been in the industry since their childhoods. Hailing from Queensland the pair ran a world class facility in Yeppoon where they hired out their facilities for clinics, in addition, Caroline is a Level 1 EA coach who spent 5 years coaching, breeding, and training full time before thier move to NSW in 2011. Abby, while in Queensland broke in a number of quality pony club mounts and quality eventers and showjumpers. Additionally she competed since the age of 7 in showjumping but most of her time was spent eventing. Despite winning a Queensland Eventing title and producing a number of top eventers, and dressage horses the move to NSW saw a change of passion where she fell in love with showjumping.
With constant exposure and lessons with international dressage, jumping, and eventing coaches, Abby and Caroline have a high degree of knowledge in producing and training quality horses.

Caroline Cooper, Owener/Director
Level 1 EA coach, Physiotherapist.
Abby grew up on a horses back and by the age of 14 had already broken in 5 horses on her own. She grew up under the wing of Caroline, her mum, who is a well known name in the Queensland equestrian community. Abby has always been involved in showjumping and was very competitive in the ring when she wasn't eventing, her serious eventing career began in 2006. After winning many local competitions she won a large Queensland title in 2010 as well as showing talent in many local showjumping and dressage competitions often winning local championships. Abby began coaching at her mother's facility and at times would have 5 clients every weekend day, and loved passing on her knowledge. After countless lessons from international and national lessons her equestrian career paused for her final year of school and a move to NSW, then she spent a further year realising that she fell in love with showjumping and bringing some horses back into work and acquiring some new ones.
Currently, Abby is in her 5th and final year of Law at the University of Newcastle and showjumping locally and nationally, she has a goal of jumping world cup qualifiers in the near future.
Caroline has been around horses since she was 7 and has done almost every horse sport imaginable, from showjumping to camp drafting, from dressage to gymkhanas, Caroline has done it all. Although her experience is vast, most of her years have been spent doing dressage, showjumping and eventing. As well as being a Level 1 EA coach caroline Studied in Sydney and Graduated with a Bachelor Applied Science in Physiotherapy, in 1988. She also completed a Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy, gained at University Queensland.
Caroline has been a successful rider and showjumping against the likes of Andrew Inglis in her younger years, she would often jump up to B Grade at shows and won some six bar titles. Her dressage career is continuing and has been just as successful, in Queensland Caroline often won many championship classes, but a life threatening injury meant her top horse was unable to compete again and she currently helps by riding young horses for Abby and waiting for her next dressage prospect to grow and break in. Caroline is able to establish kind soft collection and contact in the young horses allowing a very natural progression onto showjumping or any chosen discipline.
Currently, Caroline coaches Abby and is working with her to progress Eden Park and helping Abby and her horses get to World Cup Qualifier level. Caroline also owns and runs Mitchell Physiotherapy and with 3 practices she has her hands full running a team of more than 10 physios.
